Next Wave Gala Producers Council Celebration

Last week, BAM celebrated the 2011 Next Wave Festival with its' annual Next Wave Gala honoring our loyal BAM donors, the Producers Council.

Guests were invited for cocktails and hors doeuvres in the Campbell Lobby of BAM's Harvey Theater preceding the opening night performance of Krapp's Last Tape, starring two-time Oscar nominee John Hurt. After an "achingly fine performance" (NY Times) by Hurt, guests were led to our neighbor, Skylight One Hanson, for a gorgeous dinner setting.

As guests enjoyed a delectable dinner by Great Performances, BAM's exclusive caterer, and Chamisal Vineyards wine, graciously donated by Joseph & Diane Steinberg, they were surrounded by a stunning and festive landscape designed by the always amazing Fleurs Bella Beautifiers.

Gift bags with items from nunu Chocolates, poppin, Perseus Books, Not For Tourists, The Body Shop, and The Hampton Popcorn Company were bestowed upon guests as the evening came to a close.

The evening was co-chaired by Producers Council members Rina & Takis Anoussis, Carley Roney & David Liu, and Jennifer Small & Adam Wolfensohn. Our Artist Circle Chairs, Charles M. Nathan & Alisa F. Levin, as well as our Honorary Chair, Eugene Downes, the Chief Executive from Culture Ireland, and Honorary Corporate Chair, Pamela Codispoti, Executive Vice President for American Express Consumer Cards, were all in attendance.

The festive evening garnered great coverage from many publications including New York Social Diary and Bloomberg.
